At MGIMO, students from Uzbekistan explained the procedure for voting in the upcoming elections of the head of our state

On September 25, this year, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) hosted an annual event - MGIMO Welcome Day, dedicated to the integration of freshmen into the student environment.

With the support of the embassy, ​​the Uzbek MGIMO club adequately presented the culture and traditions of the republic to the participants.

At the same time, during the event, the embassy staff also informed the students from among the citizens of Uzbekistan about the upcoming presidential elections in Uzbekistan, which are scheduled to be held on October 24 this year. at the polling station No. 30, formed at the embassy, ​​and from 14 to 20 October this year. early voting.

The students were explained the changes made to the electoral legislation, including the procedure for forming an electronic voter list, which is formed abroad through the diplomatic missions of our country and the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
